Voda Soaps
are carefully
crafted using the cold
process method of soapmaking.
This process produces soaps
that are naturally glycerine
rich and moisturizing.
The base oils of organic
olive, coconut, organic
palm, castor and organic
fair trade shea butter are
combined with other
luxurious oils such as
almond, organic virgin
avocado and cocoa butter.
The natural essential oil
blends are created with
careful consideration as to
their effects on body and
mind. Healing organic and/or
ethically wildcrafted herbs,
flowers, spices and other
nutrients are used for
embellishment as well as for
their exfoliating and
nourishing properties.
Whenever possible, herbal
infusions and decoctions are
used.
Healthy skin
is dependent upon allowing
one's pores to breath while
at the same time providing a
barrier to retain moisture
and protect your skin's own
natural oil balance.
The
Good Witches Brew makes only
vegetable based cold process
soap because it contains the
highest proportions of
protective emollient oils
and skin conditioning
glycerin while remaining
absent of potentially pore
clogging animal tallow and
harsh chemical solvents.
In
contrast to The Good Witch's
Brew soap, most commercial
bars are tallow based French
mill, a process used to
lower production cost and to
remove valuable glycerin for
use in high end cosmetics,
creams and lotions.
"Glycerin" soaps typically
contain propylene glycol and
other undisclosed chemicals
used to create transparency
and facilitate ease of
production.
